Protecting your privacy is important to Polar. With this statement we wouldlike to demonstrate our commitment to customer privacy and security and what practices Polar uses concerning the collection and use of personal information on the Site, Polar Shop, or all other Polar owned, operated,licensed or controlled Sites (collectively the “Site(s)”) as well as personal information collected by Polar via alternate business channels such as telephone calls, trades shows, conferences, or from our partners.

Polar reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy in its reasonable discretion from time to time. All updates will be published and we will revise the “last updated” date at the bottom of the Privacy Policy. A notice will be posted on our Site whenever this Privacy Policy is changed in a material way. Subject to applicable law, your continued use of the Site(s) and/or your use of Polar software constitute your consent to the Privacy Policy as revised from time to time. Collecting information

When you visit our Site(s), Polar collects your information in order to record and support your participation in the activities you select.
We may also use the information to contact customers to further discuss customer interest in our company, and to send information regarding our company or partners, such as promotions and events.
All financial and billing information that we collect through our Site(s) and the products and services we provide are used only to bill the products and services. Polar does not use this billing information for marketing or promotional purposes.

Polar does not distribute or share customer email addresses and any personal customer information with third parties, except if it may be required by law.
Polar may collect information in a number of ways. The most common are when you are asked to register before downloading or trialing Polar software. Also when you participate in a contest, survey, or promotion; when you report a problem with our Site(s), our services or our software products; or when you purchase, activate and register Polar software products and services as applicable.

Declining e-mail offers

Polar provides customers with an easy means to decline to receive e-mail offers. Although most customers tell us they appreciate receiving notice of these opportunities, we recognize the importance of providing you with choices. IP Address

IP addresses are unique to each computer, and they are used to identify senders and receivers of information over the Internet. Polar uses your computer’s IP address to administer our Site(s) and to report aggregate information to our advertisers.


A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identification number that is transferred from a Site to the hard drive of your computer so that the Site administrator may identify your computer and passively track its activities on the Site.
