Licensing
Polar Server SpellChecker Server is licensed per number of developers,
web servers and domain names. So, one software license is required
per developer's machine and can be deployed on one web server and
one domain name. This means that one software developer may use
only one copy of the software to develop a web application for one
web site (typicaly one domain name and one server IP address). More
details are available in the license agreement.
Licensing options
- 1 developer/web server license
- allows development on one developer machine and deployment on
a single web server
- 4 developers/web servers license - for
the price of 2!
Stands for 4 developer licenses and 4 deployment licenses for
domain/server combinations. For example, you can deploy 4 domains
on upto 4 servers (if 1 server per domain), or 2 domains on up
to 4 servers (if 2 servers per domain).
- 8 developers/web servers license - for
the price of 3!
Stands for 8 developer licenses and 8 deployment licenses
for domain/server combinations.
- OEM license - Required when you
want to implement component to a web server application and distribute
it (sell it) royalty-free. Allows unlimited number of developers'
machines at a single physical address.
Upgrade policy
Minor upgrades which include bug fixes and minor improvements
are free.
Major upgrades carry an upgrade fee.
A 30 day grace period!
Any upgrade within 30 days of the purchase is free.

All fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed
by taxing authorities, and customer shall be responsible for payment
of all such taxes, levies, or duties.
